Taking Care of your bundles

The trick to making your bundles or unit last the entire two years or longer is proper maintenance. Over time, with normal wear hair become oily, dirty and sometimes tangled just like your own hair and needs to be cared for just like you do your natural hair. With the right washing, drying, brushing, styling, and storage, your unit will keep its value over time.

Here are some tips I love to use:

  • Always wash with sulfate-free shampoo
  • Don't just condition, deep condition. The conditioner isn't just to ease the brush out, its really needed to put some moister back into your bundles. Gels, mouse and other products are nice but they dry out the hair. Use this time to brush through any tangles or knots that may be present. This method works great on curly textures and really is the only way you should be maintaining your curly bundles.
  • Air dry when at all possible
  • When styling your unit or bundles, use a wide teeth comb
  • Always use heat protection when applying any for of heat to your hair
  • Bonnets, scarves and silk pillows will need to be your new BFF
  • And most importantly,
  • Do not forget to maintain your natural hair braids under the best human hair weave.
